Re: cancer

Sorry to hear.

what will make the difference is when they found it and who the Dr is. don't know where you live but look for a Dr that has done work at M.D. Anderson in Texas.

two doctors here told her she had breast cancer and it was in the lymphatic system and give her six months to live at most. got a dr from MD Anderson and he mixed a special chemo blend and has been with us for over 6 years. Clean bill of heath.

good luck my friend

Re: cancer

Thanks for the responses. Mr Man that is great. My son's mom said she is in the best hospital in New York City, and expects it to turn out well. I can only hope. Although I would like my son to live with me, there are many complications.

Re: cancer

I'm very sorry to hear that, bro. I lost my dad to lung cancer back in 1985 and it was hard to see him suffering. Let me suggest, bro, to NOT let the doctors operate if possible. What I've noticed about cancer is that it spreads once it is exposed to the atmosphere.

Re: cancer

Mrhtb is right. MD Anderson is the top cancer hospital in the US. Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York is also one of the top hospitals. I would find my way to either one of those if it were me. You dont want to be taking any chances.

Re: cancer

She has been getting chemo every other week since October. So far I have no word on improvement. If she makes it to summer, I will be happy. Guess I'm a fatalist, but I already lived through this once, so I'm entitled.
Get more info next week.

I lost both my mom and dad to cancer ... I wish they would find a cure for it because people who develop a cancer suffer a lot ... my mom used to pray that they would let her die ...
